At Laqtia ROOTS we select the best productions of BIOLOGICAL teas to offer the first harvests of black and green teas, guaranteeing all certified quality standards.
We certify Fair trade where the working and salary conditions that allow us to live with dignity are defended. No child labor exploitation.
The two types of teas we offer come from ORGANIC FARMING, grown and made without fertilizers or chemical pesticides.
BLACK TEA
Black tea differs from other varieties in that its oxidation is greater and generally provides a stronger and more intense aroma and a reddish infusion color.
GREEN TEA
Green teas do not ferment and do not undergo oxidation, the leaves are picked fresh and then subjected to drying, their flavor is not as deep and it has a lower level of alkaloids and caffeine than black tea. In addition, it maintains all the vitamin and antioxidant properties of the leaf.
CHARACTERISTICS OF A BIOLOGICAL TEA
An ecological green or black tea provides all the antioxidant effect and its relaxing or stimulating benefits that a tea prepared in a conventional way but there is a difference, it is grown using different methods that prevent soil erosion and that bet on a sustainable and sustainable production in time.
Its fundamental requirement is the non-use of chemical synthesis products, both insecticides and herbicides and other chemical fertilizers, a principle shared by all certified products.
