III Employability Week at the I.E.S Juan de Lucena (Toledo): Discovering Laqtia
On February 21, the Juan de Lucena Institute in La Puebla de Montalbán (Toledo), organized an educational day with the aim of bringing students closer to the fascinating world of Laqtia.
To this end, three members of the company participated in this presentation, Patricia López (Head of Administration and Marketing), Ana Herranz (Export Manager and Community Manager) and Ángela Herrera (Purchasing Department and Graphic Designer
The day began with the presentation of a corporate video, where they showed the students the company’s “Know How”.
Next, the colleagues explained the day-to-day life of the different departments that make up Laqtia, from the purchases of raw materials, inventories, export orders, documentation to management and supervision, etc.
During the event, students had the opportunity to learn about how Laqtia works and its impact on the world of work.
The students and teachers expressed their enthusiasm by actively participating and making the talk very positive. Providing some tips for students to use in companies, the talents that are needed today and the so fashionable “Soft Skills”.
As a summary, the educational day at the Juan de Lucena Institute was a success, awakening the interest and curiosity of the students for Laqtia.
Such initiatives are essential to prepare young people for the challenges of the future and to promote skills and qualities in the business world.
Laqtia will continue to collaborate and train students from this and other institutes so that in the future there will be excellent professionals.
