At Laqtia ROOTS we select the best productions of ORGANIC teas to offer the first harvests of black and green teas, guaranteeing all the standards of certified quality.
We certify Fair Trade where working conditions and wages are defended that allow people to live with dignity. No exploitation of child labour.
The two types of teas we offer come from ORGANIC FARMING, grown and processed without fertilizers or chemical pesticides.
BLACK TEA
Black tea differs from other varieties in that it is more oxidized and generally provides a stronger, more intense aroma and reddish-infused color
GREEN TEA
Green teas are not fermented and do not suffer oxidation, the leaves are picked fresh and then subjected to drying, their flavor is not as deep and has a lower level of alkaloids and caffeine than black tea. In addition, it maintains all the vitamin and antioxidant properties of the leaf.
CHARACTERISTICS OF AN ORGANIC TEA
A green or black organic tea provides all the antioxidant effect and its relaxing or stimulating benefits than a conventionally brewed tea but there is a difference, it is grown using different methods that prevent soil erosion and that bet on sustainable and sustainable production over time.
Its fundamental requirement is the non-use of chemically synthesized products, both insecticides and herbicides as well as other chemical fertilizers, a principle shared by all certified products.
