In September 2025, Laqtia participated in a trade mission to Australia and New Zealand, organised with the support of the Institute for Foreign Promotion of Castilla-La Mancha (IPEX), with the aim of strengthening its internationalisation strategy.
From September 8 to 13, our CEO Alfonso López and our R+D manager Carmen Mármol were in Sydney and Melbourne, where they took part in the Fine Food Australia fair and held meetings with distributors and potential local customers. Subsequently, between 15 and 18 September, Laqtia travelled to New Zealand, with agendas in Wellington, Christchurch and Auckland.
One of the highlights was the visit to the Spanish Embassy in Wellington, where the delegation was received by Ambassador Luis Alfonso Sánchez-Vellisco Sánchez, who showed his support for Laqtia’s internationalisation work in this emerging market.
With this mission, Laqtia opens the possibility of having a presence in Oceania, a new opportunity for the expansion of its products in a very favorable context after the recent free trade agreement between the European Union and New Zealand.
