Laqtia was present for the second time, from March 10 to 12, at HIP 2025, where it introduced several innovative proposals for both the vending channel and the horeca sector in general. Among the new offerings, drinks like the Matcha Latte stood out, already sold in other countries with great success.
Another noteworthy option was the Pink Latte, a unique and increasingly popular drink among young people, made with beetroot powder, milk, and spices.
In addition, a wide variety of products for the horeca channel were presented to the professionals who visited their stand, including frappes, soft ice creams, as well as their complements: toppings and smoothies.
Laqtia Laqvital
One of the highlights was the launch of the new line of functional food products under the Laqtia Laqvital brand, specifically designed for nursing homes and hospitals. “I would like to make a special mention of the launch of our new line… which we expect will be very well received, as our initial business contacts seem to indicate,” says Alfonso López, CEO of Laqtia.
The company has viewed its stake in HIP very positively. In fact, they already consider it their benchmark fair at the national level. Although their participation was more discreet the previous year, the experience confirmed that the visitor profile perfectly matched their objectives. For this reason, they decided to double down. “Last year, even though our participation was very modest, we saw that the visitor profile was ideal for us.” The stand design was conceived to clearly reflect their product range and the sectors they target. They divided the space into three zones: one for vending, focused on the range of soluble products; another for general hospitality, where they highlighted the new trend drinks, frappes, soft ice creams, syrups, etc.; and a third, dedicated to the Laqvital line.
The NAMA Show
The company also regularly participates in The NAMA Show, and year after year it achieves better results. In this latest edition, the fifth they have attended, the progress was particularly significant. “This last edition has been extraordinary, because in addition to consolidating contacts and sales in the USA, we have had the opportunity to forge very solid connections in Canada.”
Laqtia returned from the trade fair very satisfied, convinced that the American market continues to offer great opportunities. As for the visitor profile, it’s not very different from the European one. “The American public isn’t very different from the European one. The products in demand are practically the same.“
During the event, they presented their entire range of products, although the dairy products and cocoa products were of greatest interest.
The path of Laqtia
There are still some key events on the 2025 calendar, such as The Vending Show in Paris (June 25-27) and Vendtra in Munich (September 23-24), trade fairs they are approaching with enthusiasm and high expectations. “These are two events that we are very excited about, as we have very high hopes for them.”
The main challenge facing Laqtia today is to expand its facilities to meet the growing demand from its customers and to continue increasing its product offering in order to reach more markets.
